My day

Started off with a text from Julie at 6:30am: "Front page of the register. You go girl"....

Great conference day at the HIV/AIDS Global Summit. Of course, it was so cool to see multiple secret service agents everywhere on the campus. Locking down the World Vision AIDS Exhibit (including all my stuff), seeing those dogs sniffing everywhere, the intricit details of just mobilizing Senator Clinton from one building to another...it was amazing seeing the amount of preparation it takes for her to go anywhere. I mean, for her it's nearly impossible to be spontaneous. Crazy.

She spoke for about 30 min, pretty interesting, motivating, of course -- she put her Presidential Campaign speech plug in there -- not surprising though. She did mention a statistic that I wasn't aware of, and quite surprised at:

There are more children out of school in Africa, then there are children in school in the US.

So tragic....

Check out the register...and come to the AIDS exhibit....open till 10PM every night till Sunday! It's so fun!

Here's what's on the front page of the OC Register...yeehee!! It's fun to see other people blogging about it and buying multiple copies ---- we're famous Josh!!!
