No stupid Country for Stupid Men

Saw this movie the other day... I highly disagree with the people who voted this as the #1 movie of the year. It was pretty intense, but didn't have much depth or a super intriging storyline or anything. Here are a list of movies that (in my opinion) that should win #1 movie of the year instead of No Country for Old Men:

-Lars and the Real Girl
-3:10 to Yuma
-Across the Universe
-Anything but No Country for Old Men

I don't like this movie. Don't go see it.

I felt this same way coming out of Atonement. I wanted to scream I hated it so much.
I am convinced that it's often the mood or stage of life we are in that makes us feel one way or another about a movie...
We'll talk more about this in person, but I have found it more and more often to be true that I see a movie once and hate it terribly and even watch it a couple of years later and love it.
