Restaurant Critique: Harbor House

I can't remember the first time I went to Harbor House, but I think I was about 13 or 14. Harbor House is one of those classic 24-hour diners that serves great food and has crappy service. The walls and ceilings are plastered with vintage movie posters, the floor is creaky, some of the booth seats are busted, and if you choose certain booths you can read wall carvings and tiny graffiti by the thousands who have been there.

Harbor House will always be a special place to me, it reminds me of my home back east a little...not sure why. Went there today with one of my BFF's Alan...of course, he and I have been here dozens of times...never gets old! Maybe one day it'll show up on Diners, Drive-In's and Dives....(have I mentioned that I LOVE that show?)

My favorite dish: California Chicken Sandwich

I give Harbor House five out of five burgers.

Hello? Where was MY invite? I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see Alan! Heck the FOUR of us...
we'd probably be asked to leave.
But OH what fun...
Please let me know the next time you see him...I'd love to join you!

Any images of some of the vintage movie posters? Were they mounted on the walls?
