Tips when starting a new job...

These have been rattling around in my head for a while...thought I’d share my thoughts on what to do the first week of a new job!

1. Be early and dress nice
2. Make one tangible contribution to the organization on your first day
3. Don't go to lunch alone...utilize that time to meet and talk with new people that you work with
4. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Not only will you learn something new, but you'll appear to be super enthusiastic about the company, and eager to learn everything!
5. Make yourself indispensable. Do whatever you can to make your job so vital and important that they will do anything to keep you!
