LA to Houston to Memphis to San Fran
I'm trying to use my NWA miles to book a flight to San Fransisco to see Liz. This is the route Northwest wants me to take. Is it just me...or does my "free" flight actually turn into a super expensive and completely unnecessary flight? (click the image to enlarge)

That's what happened when I tried to fly to Seattle. No wonder it's so expensive...Dallas is not on the way to Washington!

this makes me laugh! I have done the same thing to claim free flyer miles, it is so ridiculous, that you never want to use the miles, because you will never reach your destination. At this point driving would get you hear faster. haha this is really funny!
