Not on my Christmas List: Anne Geddes

I don't understand people who think Anne Geddes photography is awesome. I'm not gonna lie, I think it's creepy. It's creepy watching people sleep. It's creepy taking pictures of people while they sleep. It's creepy putting them in a certain position (while they are naked nonetheless) and placing rose petals, hats with stems, and costumes on them. It's creepy that people all over the world have pictures of naked babies on the walls of their homes, desk calendars, and wallpaper on their desktop computer.

And the thought of parents auditioning their child by willingly putting them into a pot kind of sucks. (insert pothead joke here)
In conclusion, I will never put anything Anne Geddes on my Christmas list. And if anyone is silly enough to purchase me one I'll probably regift it to someone like Amersons or Courtney.

You sound like Oscar from the Office, outraged at Angela's poster.

Super super creepy! It's like a reenactment of a bad dream.

I don't like her stuff either, but I don't think it's creepy to watch people sleep. I think it's sweet - people look like little angels when they sleep, it's so peaceful.

Wow! I didn't know something like this even existed. Who knew there would be a market for a picture of a platoon of naked babies in plant pots... I've seen more offensive examples of "Art", but this is definitely not my cup of tea.
