The Time is Ticking

I've said this 100 times, but I wish there were more hours in the day. However, I know if that were a reality then I would probably say the same thing anyways. There is always so much to do in so little time. It's funny how errands stress me out, because I impose these errands on myself -- nobody is telling me to do anything. The physical act of running errands isn't stressful, but the constant reminders to myself about the task which lead up to the errand.

For example, I've needed new tires on my SUV for 2 months. I am just now starting to process where to go in a new city. Nagging balled tires.
I need a 90k service on my SUV as well...however, I'm about 10k too late. Nagging odometer.
I need to visit the dentist. Nagging floss.
I need to follow up on a Baggage Reimbursement. Nagging claim on my desk.

Errands like this stress me out, it's not that I don't want to accomplish all these things, it's the non-existent element of time in my life right now.

One of my favorite quotes is from John Ortberg: "We must ruthlessly eliminate hurry from our lives." I think about this everytime I'm super busy, and I always try to un-busy myself but it never seems to work.

Not sure what the solution is, all I know is I should be able to accomplish everything on my own, and it's so much easier when you have friends/family around you to help.

"...it's so much easier when you have friends/family around you to help." I helped once. You got mad.

Never do today what you can put off for tomorrow. Better yet, never put off 'til tomorrow what you can avoid altogether!

good luck kiddo...
I looked up procrastination avoidance tips but they would take too long to write and can't get to it right now...maybe tomorrow...
