Over the Rhine
Have you ever listened to a CD, and liked the band; then saw them in concert and loved them EVEN MORE? Well, that's what happened to me the other night...
I went and saw Over the Rhine at The Knitting Factory on Friday. They were SO amazing! I was impressed because of Karen's amazing voice, and the talent this band brought to the stage!
This husband and wife duo have actually been around for 15 years, and been voted one of the top 100 best living songwriters of all time. It's kind of indie-rock meets earthy-poetic-midwestern soul. I loved how the musicians played multiple instruments, and me and Amy stuck around after the show and got to meet them...and have an actual conversation with them...so amazing!
