Mr. and Mrs. Nantkes

I went to Amy and Andre’s wedding this weekend in Duluth, MN. It was so great! Now, in the past I’ve been a huge fan of huge weddings, with tons of people, huge wedding party, chaos, etc etc. This wedding was super intimate, and one of the best weddings I’ve attended. There was no wedding party, completely drama free, and everyone who attended had a close relationship with the bride and groom. There were about 45 people, and they got married overlooking Lake Superior in a beautiful white gazebo. All the guests stood around them; and the bride and groom even joked with us, talked to everyone during the ceremony, no microphones were needed…it was super intimate and wonderful.

Afterwards we took a stroll down to a castle looking patio, threw around some baseballs, and they ever so slyly walked down towards some train tracks. Just as they got there a train pulled up – they surprised us with the reception on the train! We took an hour train ride while we ate and celebrated. So great!
