Animal of the Week

I've been waiting a long time for this animal of the week...and I must say, you may find me incredibly weird for thinking this, but SLUGS are adorable. Yes, slugs. They're slimy, weird looking, and mysterious. Like, where the heck do they go in the winter? Do they hibernate? And why don't they have shells like snails?

I personally like them, and think they're fun. Everytime I see them I take a picture...so here are a couple of my personal slug photos. Enjoy!

I've been anxiously awaiting your next animal of the week and somehow you slipped this one in...
who cares if slimy slugs are one of the most damaging pests in the garden... did you know that a family of them can destroy a garden in a matter of days...
just in case you withdraw this animal from your list of favorites a good anti-slug product is appropriately called Sluggo...
but I enjoy reading your animal posts... keep up the good work and hopefully your next animal will have a bit more class......

Call me a Monday morning quarterback but I can't help telling you that when a snail loses its shell it looks sluggish...
